Help Make The Best-Known John Donne Portrait Part Of A Public Collection

The National Portrait Gallery of England has launched an appeal for donations. The Gallery is hoping to be able to buy the best-known portrait of John Donne, one that has remained in a private collection since Donne's death in 1631. It is now available to the Gallery if 1,652,000 pounds can be raised by the end of May. If you would like to help the National Portrait Gallery acquire this portrait so that it can be on view for the public, you can make an online donation or learn the mailing address by visiting the appeal site.
