Here's a fun site if you are feeling like reading about crusades against the abuse of language: BuzzWhack: The Buzzword Compliant Dictionary This site plays host to a number of dubious words (along with their definition). Here's today's sample: "microwaiting: The time spent in front of the employee break room microwave while your lunch heats up. Regularly occurs a few minutes before noon and is generally not reported as a part of the lunch hour." You can search their dictionary, subscribe to the "Buzzword of the Day," nominate a word for inclusion in the dictionary, or read their "Whack of the Week"—the featured media release or website with incomprehensible language.
